Biography
Following the 1995 dissolution of the Best Kissers in the World, vocalist and guitarist Gerald Collier reinvented his approach as an alternative country singer/songwriter. He inked a deal with C/Z Records and put out his first solo album, I Had to Laugh Like Hell, in 1996; his self-titled Warner Brothers release arrived in 1998 and incorporated several tracks reworked from the prior record. Aces & Eights issued the EP Low Tar Taste in 1999, with Breakin' Down appearing on Plain Records in 2003.
