Ghost in the Machine

Ghost in the Machine, the Milwaukee outfit that fuses hard rock, goth rock, and electronica under their self-applied banner of "rocktronica," has long operated as a veteran act sustained by a devoted cult audience. The group first surfaced in 1998 via a self-titled EP, then delivered their inaugural full-length, The Haunting Begins, in 2000. The Repo Session followed in 2005, and the next year yielded The One Within, which contained their aggressive cover of ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man." New listeners received an overview in 2006 with the arrival of the Compulsive EP, which collected favorite tracks from the band's earlier output.
