Reveille

In the modest Massachusetts community of Harvard, hybrid hard rock outfit Reveille assembled. Emerging from the remnants of prior projects by singer/songwriter Drew Simollardes and guitarist Steve Miloszewski, the lineup retained Simollardes’ drummer Justin Wilson together with Miloszewski’s guitarist Greg Sullivan. Bassist Carl Randolph completed the five-piece unit, which laid down a six-song demo that attracted a music agent; the agent then directed major-label attention toward Reveille. A showcase at CBGB generated additional interest and secured the band a contract with Elektra Records, which issued the debut album Laced in 1999.
