GoNoodle operates as both a production house and media platform focused on children’s educational music, blending assorted genres to encourage physical activity and mindfulness.

The American educational technology company, established in 2013 by co-founder Scott McQuigg, reached the point where just under half of all U.S. elementary schools were broadcasting its videos within four years. That exposure naturally drove children to stream the songs at home as well. While a substantial portion of releases listed GoNoodle itself as the credited performer, the firm also signed additional artists and gave each its own dedicated channel. Among its earliest major collaborations was the Minneapolis duo Koo Koo Kanga Roo, formed in 2004, whose high-energy mix of pop-punk and hip-hop incorporated offbeat humor. By 2017 several roster acts, among them the rap trio Blazer Fresh, had released complete albums through GoNoodle; Blazer Fresh’s track “Banana, Banana, Meatball” became one of the label’s most-streamed recordings. Although Koo Koo Kanga Roo ended its association with the platform in November 2021, GoNoodle kept featuring music from other prominent acts and channels, including Awesome Sauce, Moose Tube, and the Best Tees.
