Good Old War

Emerging from a break taken by Days Away, the trio Good Old War took its name from selected fragments of the members' names and was started by Days Away alumni Keith Goodwin and Tim Arnold. Daniel Schwartz from Unlikely Cowboy soon completed the lineup, and the group tracked its debut in Los Angeles during 2008. Sargent House issued Only Way to Be Alone that fall. Also in 2008 the band served as both live and studio support for Anthony Greene on his album Avalon while joining the Circa Survive singer on tour. The self-titled sophomore release of 2010 reached number 150 on the Billboard 200. Come Back as Rain appeared in 2012, and the live set Live from the City of Brotherly Love followed in 2013. After the single "Tell Me What You Want from Me," Nettwerk put out the fourth studio album, Broken Into Better Shape, in 2015. Good Old War returned in summer 2017 with Part of Me, the opening installment of a planned three-EP series.
