Biography
Hailing from the Bronx, Hell Rell belongs to the Diplomats crew and launched his solo work in 2006 via the mixtape Streets Wanna Know. A two-year prison term for drug-related offenses postponed his individual path, yet he still managed to appear on the Diplomats’ 2004 release Diplomatic Immunity, Vol. 2 by recording verses over a jailhouse telephone. After linking with Koch in 2007, he turned his attention to his first official album, For the Hell of It. The follow-up Black Mask Black Gloves arrived in 2008, while 2009 brought two further projects: Hard as Hell during the spring and Live from Hell that autumn.
