Asturian bagpiper and flautist Jose Angel Hevia fuses Celtic motifs with traditional Asturian sounds throughout his work. His debut album, Tierra De Nadie, arrived in 1999 and achieved triple-platinum status in Spain while becoming a major success across Europe; American audiences received the record that same summer. Early 2001 brought the follow-up release Other Side.
