Biography
In Lincoln, England, the retro-rockabilly trio the Hicksville Bombers originated in 1992 when singer/guitarist Dave Brown joined forces with double bassist Peter "Geordie" O'Brien and drummer Bryn Jones. Ahead of their debut LP Alabama Jailhouse, which surfaced in 1996, the band put out singles such as "What Kinda Fool?" and "Home Baby"; later releases arrived in the form of 1997's Bombs Away and 1998's Prettiest Girl in Town.
