Biography
Based in Granade, Spain, electronic musician Cráneo Prisma issued a string of self-produced recordings and web-hosted tracks under the Holögrama name throughout his early years, shaping a hallucinatory strain of indie rock steeped in ambient textures. Echoing the reworked Krautrock pulse of Stereolab and the hazy, detached atmosphere of early Deerhunter releases, he operated chiefly in isolation, though he joined forces at times with like-minded musician Carlos Alcántara on certain recordings and concerts. The 2014 album Waves brought Holögrama to a wider listenership. U.S. label Trouble in Mind put out the band’s first proper full-length.
