Biography
An American children's ensemble known as Homegrown Kids delivers family-friendly renditions of well-known country hits. In much the same way Kidz Bop Kids adapted pop material during the early 21st century, the group supplies youthful vocal takes on current country tracks supported by full-band instrumentation.
Chart-topping country songwriter Ross Copperman originated and helmed the project, which launched in 2018 via the collection Homegrown Kids Country, Vol. 1. That set included the Kids' versions of Old Dominion's "No Such Thing as a Broken Heart," Jon Pardi's "Dirt on My Boots," and Old Crow Medicine Show's singalong "Wagon Wheel." The following year brought a second album, '90s Country, featuring performances of songs associated with Garth Brooks and Dixie Chicks, among others.
