Biography
Boston-rooted musician Jesse Dee blends vocals and guitar in a retro-soul mode while favoring an offbeat strain of R&B shaped by indie-rock angles. Drawing from foundational soul and R&B figures including Sam Cooke and Otis Redding, he played across multiple funk, soul, and rock groups during his college years pursuing graphic design. Two albums mark his output so far, among them Bittersweet Batch, issued on 7 Not in 2008.
