Juju>3 serves as the artistic identity of Julian Perez, a California-based singer and songwriter who first captured widespread attention in 2023 through the track "Wasted Summers." Already established as an 18-year-old creator of introspective bedroom pop shaped by online platforms, Perez had issued his self-released EP Everybody Loves Everybody prior to posting the two-minute recording on TikTok in May 2023. The upload spread rapidly across the platform, driven in particular by the segment featuring vocal contributions from his ten-year-old sister Lailah. Crafted with a somber atmosphere alongside an energetic '80s synth framework and production handled by Dan Darmawan, the song appeared as an official single via Not Fit for Society that July, achieving the number-13 position on Billboard's Hot Alternative Songs, number 25 on Hot Rock Songs, and the top spot on a U.S. streaming ranking. The subsequent release "Girls Like You" followed in April 2024.
