Kaïn

The folk-rock quartet Kaïn from Canada assembled in Drummondville, Quebec during 2001. Steve Veilleux handled vocals and guitar while Patrick Lemieux played lead guitar, Eric Maheu covered bass duties, and Yannick Blanchette sat behind the drums. Months after forming, the band captured first place at the Granby Festival and thereby secured a tour of France. Once the single “Parle Moi d’Toi” succeeded, their debut album Pop Culture surfaced in 2004 and stayed on the Quebec charts for nearly three months. Nulle Part Ailleurs appeared the following year.
