Kaia

Kaia Wilson initially played rhythm guitar in Team Dresch, the queercore group from Oregon, prior to launching a solo career. She performs in the Butchies, another queercore ensemble, and previously belonged to Adickdid. Alongside Tammy Rae Carland she operates Mr. Lady, the Durham, NC-based label that also serves as home base for the Butchies. In 1998 Mr. Lady released her Ladyman CD, and the imprint has further put out three Butchies albums. Additional Kaia recordings have appeared on Chainsaw and Little Brother Records.
