Biography
Kasey Anderson’s gravelly, world-weary vocals paired with songs steeped in raw storytelling have invited comparisons to Americana and alt-country figures such as Steve Earle, Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen on his Nebraska album, and Ryan Adams. Moving between the folk communities of Bellingham, WA, and Portland, OR, he established himself as a regional favorite while drawing national press notice through five albums—Harold St. Blues (2001), Dead Roses (2004), The Reckoning (2007), Way Out West (2009), and Nowhere Nights (2010)—every one produced by Eric Ambel and tracked at Ambel’s Cowboy Technical Sources studio in Brooklyn, NY.
