Biography
Kelli Ali, once the distinctive voice of the Sneaker Pimps, launched her independent path by blending elements of rock with electronica. Departing from the group toward the end of the 1990s, she pursued personal projects, enlisting Rick Nowels, known for his work with Dido, alongside Jagz Kooner from Primal Scream, to shape her first solo effort Tigermouth, issued through One Little Indian, the same imprint associated with her former band. For the more intense follow-up Psychic Cat, she partnered with Dave McCracken on production duties and brought in Andrew Innes, the guitarist from Primal Scream.
