Ketzer

Formed in 2008 in Cologne, Germany, Ketzer emerged as a blistering, prog-kissed, blackened thrash metal unit assembled by teenage friends vocalist Gerrit, bassist David, drummer Sören, and guitarists Marius and Chris. Their debut LP, the critically acclaimed Satan's Boundaries Unchained, arrived the next year and quickly led to prominent festival appearances at Extremefest, Party San, and Rock Hard OpenAir. In 2011 the band launched its first European tour ahead of the sophomore release Endzeit Metropolis, which surfaced in 2012. After making their American debut in 2014, the members returned home and turned their attention to a third studio album; that effort, Starless, came out in early 2016 on Metal Blade Records.
