Kierra Luv

Kierra Luv, the Pennsylvania rapper, first drew widespread notice through her viral freestyles, even as her own tracks consistently examine the hardships she confronted while growing up.

Luv had already formed the routine of posting freestyles online when an unsuccessful audition for The Rap Game pushed her to pursue the craft with full commitment. Her digital following had been expanding at a measured pace until it surged dramatically in 2018, triggered when Cardi B shared Luv’s rendition of “Money.” That surge in visibility produced a recording agreement with 10k Projects/Electric Feel Entertainment and culminated in the arrival of her debut album, 2020’s Take It or Leave It.
