Biography
Under the pseudonym King of Woolworths, Jon Brooks started circulating demo recordings and uploading tracks to online platforms in 2001. The resulting visibility prompted Mantra Recordings to offer him a contract, which led to the 2002 release of his experimental and electronic-based album Ming Star.
