Biography
Lemon Jelly crafts its laid-back grooves and breaks via the production partnership of Nick Franglen and Fred Deakin. A DJ and designer, Deakin has placed his illustration work in the culture magazine the Face. Primal Scream, Björk, and the Spice Girls count among the acts Franglen has helmed sessions for. The three limited-edition U.K. EPs the duo put out across two years were later compiled as their opening full-length, LemonJelly.KY. Lost Horizons surfaced in fall 2002 as the official debut album and fused an array of styles at high velocity. The years supplying the samples on the third album, issued in 2005, directly inspired its title, '64-'95.
