Biography
Hailing from Toronto, the women who formed the folk duo Lava Hay ventured into stylistic territory associated with the Indigo Girls across the three Nettwerk albums they issued during the 1990s. Michele Gould and Suzanne Little first appeared on a self-titled 1990 Nettwerk release produced by Steve Berlin. Two years afterward Lava Hay delivered the follow-up With a Picture in Mind, then issued Baby in 1994 shortly before disbanding. That same year Suzanne Little stepped out on her own with the Nettwerk album Be Here Now!.
