Biography
Les Fatals Picards, a comedy-punk ensemble founded in 1996, earned modest attention after finishing as a finalist at the 2007 Eurovision song contest. Performing in their regional accents, the group takes satisfaction in skewering rap's violent content along with the commercial bent of other music styles. Their 2007 album Pamplemousse Mécanique, which contained the Eurovision-losing single "L'Amour à la Française," climbed to number 28 on the charts.
