Leslie Satcher

From a young age, Leslie Satcher envisioned herself building a life as a country performer. She relocated to Nashville in pursuit of that goal, yet ended up carving out a reputation instead as a staff songwriter in Music City. Across several years this work sharpened her skills, yielding material for leading figures such as Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Womack, Randy Travis, and Lorrie Morgan. Her Texas upbringing kept her ambitions in check, so she persisted until she finally secured a recording contract at the dawn of the new millennium. After signing with Warner Bros., she issued her debut album, Love Letters, in early 2001.
