Lisa Lashes

Renowned as the Queen of Hard House, Lisa Lashes stood among the foremost DJs in that dance genre while also ranking among the planet's elite club performers and party spinners from the mid-nineties into the late 2000s. Born Lisa Dawn Rose-Wyatt in Holbrooks, Coventry, England, she delivered her debut set in 1996. The performance proved so successful that it immediately earned her an opening residency. Thereafter she appeared at virtually every leading English club, among them Gatecrasher, UK: Base, and Temple Theater. Her command of sizable club audiences carried over directly to major festivals, where she headlined Global Gathering, Homelands, Creamfields UK, and Knebworth. In 2000 she issued the first volume of her Hard House Euphoria series; two years later she inaugurated the Extreme Euphoria collections, which concluded with the fourth installment in 2003. She continued the run with Lashed in 2005, Lashed Euphoria in 2006, and Lisa Lashes in 2007. Also in 2003 she launched her own Lashed party nights in Ibiza; the venture thrived, spawning a label devoted to her signature hard-dance sound, and events soon followed in China, Korea, New York, Russia, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand, among other territories. She further belonged to the Tidy Girls alongside DJ Anne Savage.
