Biography
Swiss keyboardist Patrick Moraz formed the progressive rock quartet Mainhorse in 1968, bringing together guitarist/violinist/vocalist Peter Lockett, drummer Bryson Graham, and bassist/cellist/vocalist Jean Ristori. The group issued its only album, the self-titled Mainhorse, on Polydor in 1970. Limited appeal beyond the art rock audience led to the band’s breakup, after which Graham joined Spooky Tooth and Gary Wright while Moraz took a post with Yes and later built a thriving solo career.
