M.A.N.D.Y.

Having known each other since adolescence and hosted events from the mid-1990s onward, the Berlin DJ-and-production pair M.A.N.D.Y.—Patrick Bodmer and Philipp Jung—achieved worldwide visibility in club circles soon after issuing their opening mix packages, Get Physical, which captured the first two years of its namesake label, and the opening chapter of that label’s Body Language series. M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade repeatedly joined forces on remixes and originals, among them the 2005 hit single also titled “Body Language.” Bodmer and Jung joined DJ T. and Booka Shade in founding Get Physical, which ranked among Germany’s leading dance imprints by its tenth release. The duo later supplied compilations to additional imprints, among them At the Controls (Resist, 2006), Fabric 38 (Fabric, 2008), and Renaissance: The Mix Collection (Renaissance, 2009). They marked Get Physical’s seventh anniversary with a limited-edition mix CD in 2009 and handled the tenth installment of the Body Language series in 2011. After joint projects with Adultnapper and Lopazz plus the 2015 EP Remixes, M.A.N.D.Y. finally delivered their debut artist album, Double Fantasy, in 2016.
