Oliver Koletzki works as a producer and DJ across electronic dance, hip-hop, pop, and house. After completing music studies at Humboldt University in Berlin and composing for commercials, he issued a white-label pressing of the techno cut “Der Mückenschwarm.” Sven Väth discovered the track, signed Koletzki to Cocoon, and arranged its re-release. In 2005 the piece earned “track of the year” in Groove magazine’s reader poll and later received remixes from Dominik Eulberg and Pig & Dan. September 2005 saw Koletzki launch his own imprint, Stil vor Talent. His first DJ mix CD, The Process, arrived in 2006, with the full-length debut Get Wasted following in 2007. The Berlin-inspired Großstadtmärchen appeared as his second album in 2009, succeeded by the pop-oriented joint project Lovestoned with singer Fran in 2010. Großstadtmärchen 2, released in 2012, entered the German charts at number 19. Stil vor Talent debuted its Schneeweiß compilation series in 2013; titled after a well-known Berlin restaurant, the collections were assembled by Koletzki with the venue’s clientele in mind. His fourth solo studio album, I Am OK, surfaced in 2014 and also charted in Germany. Marking a decade of the label, Koletzki released the retrospective 10 Years Stil vor Talent in 2016. The next year he delivered his fifth solo effort, The Arc of Tension, and curated an additional installment of the Schneeweiß series.
