Sascha Braemer, a native of Berlin, has long promoted the underground tech-house aesthetic that emerged in the early 1990s. His path moved from festival DJ appearances into studio work during the late 2000s, culminating in the 2015 release of his first full-length project, No Home, alongside a consistent stream of singles and EPs.

Raised in and around the German capital, Braemer first encountered dance music amid the expanding rave culture that took root inside abandoned structures throughout former East Berlin. He initially concentrated on DJ duties, blending raw house and techno selections, and later contributed to shaping the melodic, rolling character of tech-house. After establishing himself behind the decks, Braemer moved into production and issued his debut single, “Mamba Drums,” in 2008 together with Philip Bader. Subsequent material appeared on Supdub, Dekadent Schallplatten, and Claud VonStroke’s Dirtybird; in 2013 he launched his own imprint, WhatIPlay. Following several standalone tracks, he unveiled the album No Home in 2015 and maintained an active touring schedule at festivals and basement clubs worldwide. Additional releases followed on Systematic, Hoito, and WhatIPlay, among them the 2021 EP Who Died and Made You King and a reinterpretation of Erik Satie issued by Deutsche Grammophon. Braemer returned with his second album, 11 Senses, in 2022, merging progressive tech-house structures with melodic touches and functional dancefloor energy.
