Biography
In the early 1990s, ex-Los Inocentes singer/guitarist Manolo Barrios joined forces with drummer Toto Leverone to establish the Peruvian pop/rock band Mar de Copas. The group tracked its debut demo in 1991 before securing a contract with the independent imprint El Virrey, which issued the self-titled album in 1993 and Entre Los Arboles the following year. Mar de Copas III appeared as a self-produced release on September 20, 1997, while Suna arrived in 1999.
