Biography
Originating from Spain, vocalist Maria del Monte, who calls herself the "Queen of the Sevillanas," first surfaced in the late 1980s after landing a major European success with the track "Cantame." The follow-up album Besos de Luna moved more than 100,000 units in only four days, while her further releases featured the 1998 set Digan Lo Que Digan.
