Biography
Martin Luke Brown, an English singer and songwriter based in Leicester, combines an ear for timeless melodies with a talent for shaping introspective yet accessible modern pop material. His chief inspirations range from Stevie Wonder, Sam Smith, and Adele to the Beatles. The wistful and aptly named “Nostalgia” served as his debut single in 2014, followed the next year by the Take Me Out EP. Later singles comprised “Shadow and Light,” “Love Me Sober,” and the moving “65 Roses” in 2017, the latter written as a tribute to his ex-girlfriend, who had recently passed away after battling cystic fibrosis.
