Biography
Los Angeles-based neo-psych sorcerer Morgan Delt made his initial appearance in early 2013 via a limited-edition demo-length cassette titled Psychic Death Hole. Those six tracks revealed the infernal psychedelic intensity of early Pink Floyd combined with the hazy strum of countless '60s acid-tripping jangle rock outfits, intersecting with the sharper contours of Thee Oh Sees' rawest home-recorded material. After the cassette came the limited 7" Barbarian Kings b/w Black Tuna Gang, followed in early 2014 by Delt's self-titled album on Trouble in Mind. He next signed to Sub Pop and withdrew to his home studio to start work on his second LP. Entirely self-recorded by Delt and subsequently mastered by the ever-active J.J. Golden, the still more hallucinatory and intensified Phase Zero arrived in August of 2016.
