Biography
My Jerusalem, an ensemble rooted in New Orleans, unites veteran indie rock players who came together toward the close of 2008. Jeff Klein and Dave Rosser, both from the Twilight Singers, share the roster with Rick Nelson of Polyphonic Spree, Ashley Dzerigian of Great Northern, and Cully Symington of Bishop Allen. Klein supplies the single point of connection, having joined forces and taken the stage with each musician during his solo tour the same year. Without Feathers, the group’s opening EP, surfaced simultaneously with its first live set at an SXSW showcase in March 2009. Gone for Good, the band’s first full-length release, followed in 2010 on One Little Indian.
