Born Yeifry Severino de la Rosa in 1998, Nino Freestyle emerged as a Dominican rapper who first entered professional recording and performance during his mid-teens. National attention followed once his tracks began circulating widely on major social platforms. The 2018 single “Jon Z Challenge” secured him a world record for the highest number of words rhymed in one rap song, bringing early international notice, while the EP El de los Códigos Virales appeared the same year. Over the next several seasons he established himself among the foremost urban Dominican acts, issuing nearly one hundred singles—solo and collaborative—between 2018 and 2024 without ever releasing a full album. Every major success came through featured appearances, including the 2018 track “La Vuelta” alongside El Fecho and Secreto El Famoso Biberón, the 2020 release “No Hago Coro” with Ghetto and Farruko (followed by its 2021 remix that added El Alfa, Bryant Myers, and Miky Woodz), the 2021 song “Hacerte Mía” featuring La Ross María, and the 2021 cut “Mala” with Tokischa. More recent singles comprise “Sin Tabú” from 2023 and “Travesura” from 2024, both credited with Lenny Santos, Boy Wonder CF, Chelsy, and Divino.
