Odetari crafts frenetic, ALL CAPS-style EDM in Houston by merging glitchy trap, pounding club rhythms, and explosive video-game intensity. The self-proclaimed creator of “final boss music” reached mainstream audiences in 2023 through a cluster of viral singles—“Good Loyal Thots,” “Narcissistic Personality Disorder,” “Look Don't Touch,” “I Love You Hoe,” and “GMFU”—each of which scaled the upper ranks of the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and later appeared on his first EP, XIII Sorrows. He reentered those same charts the following year with the single “Keep Up.”

Born Taha Othman Ahmad in Houston, Texas, he began shaping SoundCloud rap tracks during his early teenage years. At eighteen he adopted the Odetari alias, merging his Palestinian surname with the gaming company Atari. Throughout 2023 he worked days as a substitute teacher at a Houston high school while spending nights on social media, posting trap instrumentals and altered video-game sequences that layered deepfake character dialogue over his productions. After losing that position, his track “Narcissistic Personality Disorder” entered the Billboard EDM chart at number eleven. “Good Loyal Thots” quickly followed, peaking at number eight. By late summer the former educator had secured a multi-album contract with Artist Partner Group. The collaborative EP 3×3 with New Zealand producer 9Lives surfaced in July, and Odetari’s solo debut XIII Sorrows arrived that September. October brought a Trippie Redd remix of Odetari and 9Lives’ “I Love You Hoe” alongside the solo releases “Green Goblin” and “Hypnotic Data.”

Door to Dusk, his second solo EP, closed the year in December and included the tracks “Baby I'm Home” (with Kanii and 9lives) and “Dxe Dxe Dxe” (with Homixide Gang). In July 2024 he issued the single “Keep Up,” which entered the Billboard Hot 100 and climbed to number five on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
