In the mid-'90s the Chilean Latin rock outfit Pánico immersed itself in Santiago's underground circuit by launching Combo Records, the imprint that housed both its self-titled debut and the 1995 follow-up Canciones Para Aprender A Cantar. A subsequent contract with EMI yielded the 1996 album Pornostar as well as the EP Surfin Maremoto. Under the nicknames Eddie Pistolas (vocals and guitar), Carolina Tres Estrellas (bass), Chow Cables (keyboards) and Memoria Radial (guitar), the musicians appeared on a tribute to local rock heroes Los Prisioneros, contributing a version of "Quién Mató A Marilyn." Later, French label Saint George issued the hits compilation Panorámico.
