Paradigm from New York City received the label "Science Rap" on account of his distinctive production approach defined by expansive spacing together with lyrics that stray into territory evoking a Bradbury novel. Freshchest Records responded favorably to the material by issuing the artist's first single, "Leverage," during spring 1999.
