Paul Angerer

Having pursued training at the Vienna Academy of Music as well as the Vienna Conservatory, Angerer went on to establish a notable presence in both composition and performance. Principal violist duties with The Vienna SO gave way to leadership roles as chief conductor and director across numerous distinguished theatres, opera houses, and orchestras, among them The Vienna Chamber Orchestra. Hindemith’s music left a clear imprint on the direction of his own compositional work. Gramophone releases have regularly documented his efforts both on the podium and as a creator of new pieces.
