Pedro Flores

Pedro Flores directed one of Puerto Rico's most celebrated orchestras throughout the 1930s and the first years of the 1940s. He also composed several of the most cherished anthems associated with Puerto Rican and Cuban performers, among them the classic bolero "Perdón" together with "Amor Perdido," "Obsesion," and "Despedida." Johnny Rodriguez, Beny More, Daniel Santos, Los Panchos, Celia Cruz, and Maria Luisa Landin have recorded his material more frequently than any other artists.
