Biography
In 1986 Peggi Blu captured the top female vocalist prize on the television program Star Search, an achievement that brought her a recording contract with Capitol Records and yielded two 1987 R&B singles chart entries, "Tender Moments" and "All the Way with You." She subsequently worked as a vocal coach on the television series American Idol and earned the title of Vocal Coach of the Year at the 2013 Malibu Music Awards. Blu died on May 18, 2024, at the age of 77.
