Biography
Beyond his established presence as an actor, Saturday Night Live cast member, standup comedian, script writer, and director, Rob Schneider ventured into comedy albums with the release of his debut effort in 2010, explaining the timing with the remark “I wanted to wait till there was no money in the music biz!” The project, Registered Offender, had been slated for 2009 yet faced postponement after his label parted ways with him due to the inclusion of the track “Yoko & Julian.” A year later, the Oglio label issued the album, catching Beatles fans by surprise. Schneider further demonstrated his commitment to the arts by establishing the Rob Schneider Music Foundation, an organization that covers salaries for music teachers and supplies instruments to middle-school and high-school students.
