RTZ

During the extended intervals separating Boston's studio efforts, vocalist Brad Delp stayed active by contributing vocals to projects from other musicians, such as the 1980 solo album by ex-Boston rhythm guitarist Barry Goudreau and Orion the Hunter's debut from 1984, while also participating in side groups including RTZ. Formed in the early 1990s, RTZ reunited Delp with Goudreau and yielded a self-titled first album filled with mainstream arena rock and power ballads. Released in July 1991, that record produced an unexpected Top 30 single titled "Until Your Love Comes Back Around." Subsequent silence from the band followed, prompting widespread assumptions that RTZ had been a solitary venture once Delp rejoined Boston for the 1994 Walk On tour. Those assumptions were overturned in May 2000, however, when the group issued its second album, Lost.
