Run On Sentence

Dustin Hamman, the Portland, Oregon singer/songwriter, records under the musical alias Run on Sentence. His lo-fi indie folk approach has drawn comparisons to Neutral Milk Hotel, Devendra Banhart, and Bon Iver, among others. A constantly shifting lineup assembled from local acts including Loch Lomond, Heroes & Villains, and Shoeshine Blue, together with occasional double bassist William Joersz, helped Hamman lay down Run on Sentence’s deliberately uneven debut album, Oh When the Wind Comes Down, issued in autumn 2008 on Hush Records.
