$-Crew stands as a French hip-hop collective fronted by rapper and producer Nekfeu, whose full name is Ken Samaras and who maintains ties to the acts 1995, 5 Majeur, and L'Entourage. The lineup centers on Nekfeu alongside his early companions 2Zer, Framal, DJ Elite, and Mekra; the outfit issued its debut full-length Même Signature during 2010. Métamorphose arrived two years later, while the 2013 release Seine Zoo introduced the group to Polydor. During that period Nekfeu also issued albums alongside the rap crews 1995, 5 Majeur, and L'Entourage, ahead of his own breakthrough solo effort Feu, which surfaced on Polydor in 2015. He rejoined $-Crew to deliver Destins Liés in 2016, the first of the group’s albums to top the French charts.
