Brooklyn's Marcy Projects served as the launching point for rapper Sauce Money, who aligned himself with Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella crew and logged multiple appearances across soundtracks and mixtapes while also securing a Grammy for songwriting on Puff Daddy's blockbuster single "I'll Be Missing You," ahead of unveiling his first solo effort, Middle Finger U, through MCA in 2000.
