Lord Finesse

Lord Finesse entered the hip-hop scene with an unfiltered style that ensured explicit content warnings would remain relevant, establishing himself as one more hardcore MC. Building popularity within his hometown of New York, he delivered Funky Technician as a strong first album on Wild Pitch Records. Next came a management agreement through Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate Management, leading to the release of his major-label effort Return of the Funky Man in 1991 via Giant. Since his career as an MC failed to achieve massive success, he shifted focus to production work and developed into a reliable studio hand, handling projects for Notorious B.I.G. and Noreaga.
