Biography
Saybia came together in Nyborg, Denmark during 1993, its lineup consisting of vocalist Søren Huss, keyboardist Jess Jenson, bassist Jeppe Langebek Knudsen, guitarist Sebastian Sanstrøm, and drummer Palle Sørensen. Before landing a contract with EMI, the group issued several EPs on its own. Work on the band’s first EMI release, The Second You Sleep, occupied the members throughout 2001, yet mounting internal strain prompted a fresh creative strategy for the follow-up by 2003. That sophomore effort, These Are the Days, was tracked in Sweden and reached stores in 2004. The band’s third album, Eyes On the Highway, appeared in 2007 and found success across Europe.
