Thirteen Senses

Hailing from Cornwall, England, the melancholic Brit-pop quartet Thirteen Senses formed around Will South on vocals, guitar, and piano, alongside Tom Welham handling guitar and vocals, Adam Wilson on bass, and Brendon James at the drums. Initially operating as Soul Magician, the group issued the single "Inside a Healing Mind" during 2002, then followed with "No Other Life Is Attractive" as their debut under the Thirteen Senses name. A year afterward came "Falls in the Dark." By September 2004 The Invitation had appeared, later climbing to number 14 on the U.K. charts when reissued. Several tracks broke into the singles chart, among them "Into the Fire," which found placement across multiple popular U.S. television programs. After a 2005 European tour the musicians reconvened in the studio to record Contact, which surfaced in April 2007.
