Biography
Formed in the United Kingdom during the opening months of 2000, the alternative metal group Hundred Reasons drew their moniker from a promotional poster advocating for skating activities. This new act arose from the collaboration of musicians previously involved with the local rock groups Floor and Jepak. Following a joint appearance with the youthful heavy metal quartet Kittie, these fresh performers began developing their initial EP under the guidance of Simon Williams from Fierce Panda Records. Subsequent live performances, among them one shared with Papa Roach from northern California, led to a recording contract with Columbia Records. Through this partnership, the band issued their first full-length release, Ideas Above Our Station, which included the successful track "If I Could."
