Biography
Adrian Sherwood established the reggae collective Singers and Players, drawing together participants from New Age Steppers, Creation Rebel, the Roots Radics, and further musicians tied to the On-U Sound label. An early burst of activity in the first half of the 1980s gave way to prolonged inactivity until Revenge of the Underdog appeared in 1998, an album carrying vocal performances by Bim Sherman and Prince Far I. Staggering Heights arrived the following spring in 2000.
